Pick a charming bookstore with a cafe (and preferably comfy couches so that you can linger for a bit) and get lost in thoughtful conversation. The aroma of coffee beans coupled with the soft hum of acoustic tunes in the background will make for the ultimate fall date.

Put on some walking shoes and your insta-worthy plaid flannel shirts for an apple picking date night with super cute and cozy selfies included. Bring home your bounty and make apple pie, caramel apples, apple turnovers for breakfast, apple crisp, apple bread, the options are limitless.
Weekend Getaway
Can’t afford a big vacation or take much time off of work? Head to a fun Airbnb in your state. Try a charming cabin in the country or even a treehouse nestled away in the woods.

I don’t think I’ve been to a Haunted House in 17-ish years but this fall tradition is something everyone couple should do together at least once. If you want some extra company, make it a group date!

There are so many fall festivals to visit and Oktoberfest is a biggie. Have fun and let loose. If you find yourself wanting to experience Oktoberfest but can’t get out of the house (like in the middle of a coronavirus pandemic) think up a way to create your own Oktoberfest at home. Load up on local craft bears, whip up some soft pretzels, and have your own DIY festival in your backyard or at a local park.
