Most photographers offer one style of editing and stick to it. But after 10 years, I was getting a little bored with that. I mean, since I can edit in both styles, why not let the client choose?
so i do.
During the consultation, I ask my couples which editing style is their favorite and take note. In addition to that, while I’m editing their engagement photos and their wedding, I make sure to text them some samples of which one they like best… just in case they aren’t sure.

If you are interested in learning more, YAY! The first step is to schedule a consultation call with me. I promise to make it short, sweet, and to the point. I just want to make sure that personalities, dreams, goals, and visions align. After 10 years we’ve learned that personality compatibility is just as important as image quality. I mean, you’ll be hanging out with me for 8+ hours on one of the most important days of your life… let’s make sure we are a good fit!
The consultation will go a little something like this:
1.) Learn about you! During the first 20 minutes or so, I want to learn all about you and your partner. How did you meet? How did the proposal happen? What do you guys like to do together? What could you guys talk about for hours? Stuff like that. :)
2. Wedding Timeline! At this time I’ll transition to chatting about what the wedding of your dreams both looks and feels like. I’ll figure out your thoughts on a first look and how many are in your Bridal Party. All of this will help me create a Timeline for you for your wedding day. Why? Because typical wedding packages all include the same stuff. The only difference is the number of hours. By taking the time to figure out a tentative timeline, we can figure out which package would be best for you TOGETHER.
3.) Q & A! During this portion of the phone call, I’ll answer all the questions you have about me, my experience, the package your interested in, or my contract should we choose to work together.
4.) Goodbye! After all that is said and done, we will say our hopefully, “see you later’s.” Then, I’ll plan on checking in with you guys after a couple of days as I book weddings on a first come, first serve basis. Meaning, whoever says, “YOU’RE HIRED!” first, wins!

Let's make this thing official! As soon as I hear the word from you, I will send a proposal your way! A proposal is simply an outline of the services you will receive, followed by the payment plan of your choice, and finally a contract for you both to virtually sign. No printing or mailing or messaging back and forth required! Easy, peasy just like I like it!
After that, you will have access to my Bridal Library! An archive of all the resources you could ever want or need when it comes to planning a wedding all in one convenient place!

This is where the REAL fun begins! The engagement session is an amazing time for us to get to know you and how you guys photograph AND for you guys to get to see in action a little sneak peek of what your wedding day will be like. Before the session we will send you a fun questionnaire, our hand-selected Pinterest boards with outfit inspiration for each season, as well as my engagement session style guide to help with location and outfits!
Does your fiancé “hate having pictures taken?” Don’t worry! It is literally my goal to have BOTH people walk away saying… “That was actually fun!” <— Direct quote from the hundreds of grooms we’ve worked with. After your engagement session you’ll be sent your online gallery of images to download and share however you wish.

Approximately 6-8 weeks from your wedding I will have one last consultation with you to make sure that we are all on the same page as far as what times and locations go.
I will also be sending you your very last email that contains a questionnaire about your wedding. Giving me all the necessary info and calming every ounce of anxiety you might have. Well, at least in relation to your vendors. :)

It’s here! It’s time to celebrate, relax, and let us vendors get to work! This day is going to be a blur so I make it my priority to capture all the typical shots that every bride wants or needs while also capturing the more candid moments in between!

At some point between the wedding day and when you receive your full gallery, I will be in touch with you regarding the editing.
I’ll be sending you different samples of various edits for your opinion before applying it to the entire gallery.

6-8 weeks from your wedding day, you’ll receive a link to your entire gallery which houses both your engagement photos, wedding photos, and any future sessions that may come my way!
what you need to know about...my pricing
Here’s the deal. Nobody like’s hidden fees. Nobody wants to think they are signing up for one thing only to be told later that they have to give more money to get what they thought they were getting in the first place.
so let's not play that game...Think of my packages like an all-inclusive resort, EVERYTHING IS INCLUDED. All of my packages include the same things:
a complimentary engagement session
engagement session style guide
an online gallery of fully-retouched, high-resolution images with all the images from your engagement session
an online gallery of full-retouched, high resolution images with all the images from your engagement session
two consultations
The only difference is the number of hours you hire me for! And if you aren’t really sure how to figure that out, don’t worry! I assist you with that during the consultation call! But, there’s more information on that in the “my process” section of this page. :)
My most popular photography package for the typical Illinois wedding is my 8 hour package at $2,800.
